I'm missing something here, Main DID pointed to a virtual appearing on 4 phones. I'm trying to forward that virtual to a mailbox after so many rings, so calling party can leave a message because they're busy. What I have set up is main DID to ring a vitual, then forward on no answer to a mailbox, which has an existing greeting. I just get "that person is not available right now" and then I get the main greeting. Something I remember about DID forwarding vs. call forwarding timer is not right. Help!

Use program 24-09 to call forward no answer to the voice mail pilot number.

24-09 the virtual is forwarded to voice mail pilot #. I still get "the person you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time" like there is no mailbox.

Remove call forward in 24-09, go back to program 22-11-04, set this to no answer, 22-11-05 set this to 102.

"the person you are trying to reach is unavailable at this time" is the default mailbox greeting before it has been setup.
Your issues are with voicemail, not the pbx.
You need to setup the voicemailbox which is the same as the virtual ext that is cfd to voicemail.

24-09 I have my virtual 3331 cfna to mbox 3335 and I still get "the person you are trying to reach" etc. I can dial mb 3335 out of the auto att. and get the message for mb 3335. One key dialing "0" in UM800 is set to dial virtual 3331, which again is cfna to 3335. :bang:

You need to set up a mailbox for the main DID number itself, not the virtual extension.

The system is sending 3331 to VM even when you CF 3331 to 3335.... You need to deal with 3331 in VM.

You're right, 3331 in vmail is the issue. I think I'll just change the dial "0" from 3331 to 3335, change the key programming, and forward to voice mail. 3335 already has the correct message recorded. I think I made it too complicated, thanks for your help everyone!
