I am not sure what the feature is called and if someone could tell me or referernce the memory block I would appreciate the help.

On an Elite IPK 1 system I have an extension with 8 lines on a Dterm80

The first 4 (co1-4)appear but no ring
The 2nd 4 (co5-8) appear and ring

I want prefered line ring on so the handset can be picked off hook to answer the lines without selecting the CO
BUT the request I have is . . .
Is it possible to restrict this feature to just 5-8? Meaning handset lift answers only 5-8 but not on 1-4 even though 1-4 appear.???

Thanks in advance Bob
ps. Looking through the feature guides right now.

Ringing Line Preference is on in Default, "RLP" is a per Port Program. (if the Line on the phone rings you have RLP on that line.

Rickman - appreciate that. I have RLP on for that extension and activated. The user CLAIMS that before the system crashed that he could go off hook and answer the incoming call BUT the feature was restricted to only some of the CO lines. I am not finding this feature per CO but as you said per Port (which I think you are referencing stations and not co - Correct?

The only idea I have is to set delayed ringing?? which then he wouldn't be bothered as often? Do you have any ideas? I have found that people's "use to do this" is often mis-leading

Maybe I should be more specific

On ext 107 I have lines 1-4 set for delay ring (red) and line keys 5-8 set for immediate ring (green)

Ext 107 has RLP is on for extension 107.

I might not uderstand the pre-requisites for setting up delayed ringing so lines 1-4 take longer to ring? I am getting into something that I am lost here and need more time for it to gel.

Anyway. Ext 107 would like it so LK1-4 is off for RLP and on for LK5-8 - I don't think that is possible.

Thats correct, not possible,RLP is on a Per Station Program. Delay ring will start ringing after Delay ring timer. But if Ext. is programed to ring they will have RLP. Does the System have Voice Mail? Maybe You can have Co-1-4 picked up by AA.
