Firstly hello everyone, new to the forum ... smile

I've only been working as a phone technician for a year or so, and only work on NEC phone systems.

My query is that I have to install a SV8100 soon and the customer wants voicemail to email.

Now I've never set this up, and was just wondering if there is someone who can help ?!

I understand I will need the ME50 + additional licensing, but is there much to the programming side of things?

Thanks in advance for any help ... smile

There's not much out there, but at the end of this link is a guide that i put together that may help.

It can be a hit and miss thing so be prepared for a bit of trial and error.

I also have a guide that explains how to log into the system's logfiles and show why the delivery is failing if it does not work. (one for Inmail VM8000 and one for the UM8000)

PM me your email address if you want those as well.

Paul's guide is spot on for your side of the setup, but you need to remember someone will need to do things in the mail server to get this to work as well.

Some users will ask for you to authenticate to an account every time you push mail out, some will just allow their mail server to relay any mail originating from your PBX's IP address.

They are all a little different.
