Hi Everyone, I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction please? I have 2 x SV8100's (ver 5.1 s/w) linked via an IPSEC tunnel created between 2 x Draytek 2820 routers, I can ping both systems across the link & also both their resource IP Addresses fine. When I create the NetLink the primary system see's the secondary fine (shows as connected in the blades panel)& I can call fom an analogue/IP Phone on the primary system to an analogue port on the secondary system fine but not any IP Phone on the secondary system? I get call setup fine e.g. ringing tone & extension name on display but when I answer the call there's no speech! Is there anyone that can help please? Thanks, Dazza162

in program 81-26 you set addresses for IPPAD control. Each address has two ports associated with it.
You have to allow those ports, as well as port 5080/5060 through your firewalls on both ends.
Let us know what you figure out.

Ok went to site & reset the IPSEC tunnels on the 2 x Drayteks & then redone the NetLink with the same result! I even ran a wireshark trace & could not see anything being blocked. Going to go back to site tomorrow night & take the system out of the "B" site & move it to the main site & put it on the same HP L2/L3 Switch (All be it on a different VLAN) & see what happens. I'll let you know how I get on.

make sure you have your ipla dsp resources set to netlink. but do not set all resources to netlink, (eg if you have a 32 ipla card, leave about 9 or 10 channels as default)

Make sure in the firewall settings that you are allowing ports 5060/5080 for UDP not TCP.

Hi everyone Put both SV8100's on the same HP switch (on different vlans) with IP Routing enabled & set the SV8100's DG's to the HP IP Add for their Vlan & done the same with the IP Phones then setup the NetLink again but got the same results as originally posted! Anyone got any idea's? Both systems have an IPLA 32 card in them but the main system is licensed for 40 IP Termainals, to ask a dum question. Will the IPLA card in the main primary system need upgraded? Thanks, Dazza162

You know, I vaguely remember a note about this. I THINK in SW version 5.1 the IP phones are supposed to be authenticated to the local switch and not the remote one. This was a change..and not quite sure if you need the newer B card to do this.
