My customer [dsx160 24x64] swapped to lightpath. Since the swap they cannot dial 411 or 911. In front of the system on a butt set you also cannot dial 411 or 911.
So today Lightpath comes back and said dial "8 "then 411 and it goes thru ,they didnt try 911 this way.
Also calling into auto attendant pro mail answers and if you dial ie 308 or any other ext ext or use the directory ,nothing everything worked b4 lightpath.
Any ideas ???

Assuming they are bringing the lines in as VoIP, make sure they have DTMF set to RFC 2833(dtmf relay).

So anyway Nec also confirmed the specs supplied by Pat. We passed them to Lightpath the next day ,no action taken,Today while i'm there a call comes in from a rep from Lightpath. He starts off thinking i'm the customer and we spoke about the specs and he said no one there knows anything about them. He says " I dont know what the vendor is telling you" I then tell him I am the vendor ---silence-- He then tells me there is limited staff there and they only want to sell voip services Now 1-you still cant dial thru the auto attendant. 2-must dial 8 then 911 or 411 3-they lose band width many times a day for internet services 4- the phones go robotic several times a day 5- a couple of lines when dialed from cell phone say " you a have reached a non working number
6 On the positive note the air conditioning in the office is cool,toilets flush ,waste baskets emptied,all light bulbs on.
