Does anyone know of a way to restore the password on an AD-64 system to default?

So does that mean you have no admin access at all? Password is lost?

Correct, my customer purchased it from an equipment broker and the broker has no access to what the current security code is. I removed the Windows password so they could get that far, but they do not have the Admin Console Personal ID and security code to gain admin access.

Contact your NEC rep. They can extract the password file and set it to NEC who will tell you the password..

We are not an NEC dealer. Is there a company you can suggest that would be able to extract the required file?
