I know that this isn't supported, but thought I would ask. My client possibly has a scenario where they will have an IP phone that will be moved. All of the internet connections are high speed. I've set this up with other phone systems before, but wanted to know if the the NEC Aspire can handle an IP Connection over a plain internet line.

I believe the Aspire requires VPN.

There is no NAT traversal inherent in the Aspire, therefore you will need a VPN.
