[/b]You think they are willing to pay.... Did you explain to them that they will be paying you for several hours and it will end up costing far more than if they pay the trained professional and let them make the decision?

Did you explain to them that they will be paying you for several hours and it will end up costing far more than if they pay the trained professional and let them make the decision? [/b]I think you are missing the point. My client keeps saying "Unless he is checking my heart and giving me legal advice, I'm not paying $225/hr." They think its highway robbery and if they knew the local dealers were going to keep raising their rates, they wouldn't have picked an NEC pbx to start with. They already want to scrap it and put in a system that can be supported for a reasonable cost over the next 5 years. I'm the one actually trying to get them to keep the NEC since it will do everything they need it to do.

Well something is strange and doesn't jive here. The 2 DSTU cards tells me they upgraded to the Aspire so they must have been on NEC (Nitsuko) for QUITE some time. I can't believe there is only ONE NEC dealer in St Louis area you can refer to (I can't even get $225 in Chicago). Well best of luck to ya on this!
