HELLO,
Just got an old TS21, HARRIS SET.It seems to work. However, it only dials out on pulse but not on tone. Is there any hope for this? Easy repair maybe? Does not have a battery inside.

Check the "Mode" switch below the keypad to make sure it is toggled to "Tone".
If it still outpulses rotary, then you could try sending it away for repair, but I would lean towards replacing it with the current version....the TS19, or maybe step up to the TS30.

Also need a Touch Tone line to work on "Tone". :read:

that was pretty common failure on the TS21 Ive got one in the truck just like that that I use as a emergency backup

Thank you all for the TS21 comment. I guess it will be a backup for my TS22 and 22AL. Just can,t resist the $5 price on it.

I would have grabbed for 5 , the clips are worth that . I'm currently using a TS19 that I paid 5 for and a TS25 that I paid 30 for (it came with a banjo ) ....
