Having an issue setting up Sip trunking finally have inbound with CID and 2 way audio but I am not able to make an outgoing call when I grab A Sip trunk directly. The trunks are unregistered and I have all the outbound CID programed. I am stumped.

Will need much more information from you on this one.

How does Centurylink provide their trunking services? Do they point the trunk do the public IP Address of your SV8100? Do you have to authenticate at all to them?

Since I dont have ANY information to offer specific advice, here are some things to check:

10-19 -- Make sure your DSP Respources are set to Commonly used for IP Ext's and Trunks

10-23 -- This is VERY important if you're using unregistered trunks. You must check the System Interconnection box for EACH Sys No. (0001-0010). IP Address is the IP Address provided by your SIP Provider. Dial Number, will be from 0-9 in ascending order. Ive missed this one on a few installs and had no outbound calling for this reason.

10-29 -- Make sure you have a Default Proxy IP Address and port specified in 03 and 04.

10-29-14 -- NEC suggests always setting this to Carrier B. Not sure what effect this has on anything, but it was recommended during the SV8100 SIP Trunking Certification training.

10-40 -- 01 must be enabled, and 02 you need to set based on the services you're paying for.

14-05 -- Make sure your SIP Trunks are in their own trunk group, and the extensions you have setup have access to this trunk group.

84-26 -- Verify you have enough DSP resources configured on your IPLA blade -- I've forgotten to assign a second address a few times and caught myself running out of DSP resources.

Hope this was helpful. If you need more assistance, post more information here and I'll try my best to help.
