Does anyone remember how to work on the AP00? I have a NEAX 2000 site where the AP00 was sending smdr and pms for over 10 years. Customer changed pms servers and it has never worked since. I have installed a new ap00 card and reprogrammed multiple times. I can ger smdr but no pms? Help!

You need to get a serial tap or sniffer to determine what is not working. Since the sever was changed I would start there and work my way to the phone system.

have you got a simulator?
PM me as there is one accessible on the net but I'm not sure it should be so I don't want to post the address on an open page!

I do have a simulator. I changed out the AP00 card and played around with the ports and baud and for about 2 days I had PMS data talking to the software but they were telling me it was garbage. I changed to 1400 format reset the card and I have not been able to make it send anything since. I have blown out the card and reprogrammed a couple of times... I don't get it.

"They were telling me it was garbage..."
Um, I'd hook up on Hyperterminal and look at the data. If the data is sensible data (i.e starts ^J then has numbers and spaces, then ends ^M^J^L) then the PMS folks are full of it. If it's truly illegible data, I'd adjust baud and parity until you get valid data.
Make sure that the new server's baud and parity is set correctly on the server's ports; it must match the baud and parity that you are sending from the PMS. You can sample with a laptop at any point.

Checked all settings and all are correct, then i think to see if there is any name display from digital set to digital set from command 770. Nothing!! Check 08, 255 its turned on?
