I recently got a non working harris ts22al from ebay. I know the trick with the 3v battery. I went to radioshack and got what I needed. I replaced the 9v as well. The phone picks up dial tone, speaker works, but when I try to dial out, it just gives a pause and doesnt actually dial.. Any suggestions on what could be wrong?? I bought the dang thing for 37.00, so I am really trying to make it work. My old one is the same model and I had to change the 3v in that one also. Maybe I can use parts from the old in the new?? I am open to suggestions.. Thanks - Jason

If the batteries are fully charged and switches are set properly, then my guess is that the unit is defective. Sending both out for repair might be the way to go.
