8100 is on software CJ6.0C (7.0 beta) Have the same issue on our in house system which is 6.03
We have had standard IP stations working for months now and are trying to add NAPT IP stations.
The existing stations are setup with manual login in 10-46-01 so users with softphones and IP stations at home can have their prime extension follow them.
Here's the issue:
As soon as I allow NAT in 10-46-07 ALL IP stations outside the office (NAT and VPN) lose their speechpath. Internal Ip stations continue to work just fine.
As soon as I uncheck 10-46-07, VPN connected IP stations have speechpath and NAT phones cannot connect.
Driving me bonkers!!!
Any advice?

doghart, Enable NAT is 10-46-14, is 10-46-07 a typing error?

I Kinda remeber a webex from NEC on the 6.00 release that said you couldn't mix NAT and Standard IP, course that maybe what Beta 7.00 is about....

If your running beta 7 you may have to go back to the person at NTAC who is running the field trial..
By standard SIP do you mean NEC iSIP (MLT) or advanced SIP for 3rd party devices??
We were told yesterday that R7 and 8 are going to be combined..
Regards,
Paul W Now back to a 0 day week. Love these 7 day weekends.

Ok didn't know there was a time clock on editing a post!
I meant to say NAPT instead of standard IP.

I was able to use prog 10-58 to add and "exception rule" for my VPN connected phones so they now have speechpath when I turn on 10-46-14.
Now I just need to figure out why I have no speechpath on my NAPT stations.
The R7 beta was installed to accommodate a new (5.1) TSP for UCB.

Hi doghart, what routers are you using for your NAT terminals? I've experienced this issue with drayteks because the IPL card that streams RTP has a different IP address to the CPU there is a mismatch in the ARP table of the router.

We finally got NAPT working along with internal IP phones.
We are using Sonicwall NSA Firewalls. Had to make adjustments in them for UDP session timeout, set it to 240 (default was 30) on both sides. The phone would connect, thne die after 2 minutes whether a call was in progress or not.
With the changes to the fireewalls on both ends the phone has been up for almost 48 hours and has worked solid so far.
Color this one DONE guys.
I know more about firewalls, port forwarding and IP phones now then I ever wanted to.
