I have a lady in my office that uses Hotmail. She uses frame w/T1 here and cable modem at home. On her laptop all other websites load fine, but Hotmail is slower than a 14.4 modem. I tried deleting cookies and playing w/ security settings and even a NAV scan. Hotmail works just fine on all other computers in the office.

I have run into the same problem with a cust. I deleted the e-mail account and added it back in and that did the trick. I'm not saying it will work for you but it's worth a try.

I just found out that we have a tracking software for printing that causes issues with XP and IE. The problem is rare, but it's out there.

You know I have heard of some really strange problems with XP, I use Windows ME ,I think that the more I see XP the more I don't like it.Anyway I'm glad you found your problem.

XP doesn't like to work with a lot of software programs especially games, don't know why Bill would do something like that. 2000 & NT is still one of the most stable platforms to use, ME isn't too bad either.

I agree with that. 2000 and NT are the best.

XP is nothing more than the next version of Windows 2000. In fact, if you look at the kernal is will come up as Win2000 or NT and not XP. Leave it to some engineer at Microsoft to change some compatability issues. With todays large drives, set up a dual boot system if you are unsure.

We have just updated our software and now all is fine. For something built on Win 2000, XP behaves quite different... but it does have it's advantages. It has most drivers built in. I have just plugged all the equip in on most setups, and everything is installed automatically.
