just curious as to what home page people use.

I have found myway.com to be a very good home page with no ads!

I've always used Google.com but I'll take a look at myway.com.

Google was always good for me, but myway looks pretty good too. I'll give it a try.

I parked a bunch of my regular bookmarks with bookmarks.yahoo.com so that I can access them from any machine anywhere. You can "export" them as a web page, and save that locally to your hard drive. That local bookmark page is my home/start page.
