Also, did you try administrator with no password in safe mode? Sometimes that works.

If you just bought it, is there any reason you don't want to just reimage the machine? If you have data you don't want to lose I have a great clean room over in Grand Prairie that can recover all the data, but it can get a bit pricey.

Z-man, I have one that I burnt to CD. Google 'Linux Windows Password Cracker.' I used it on my machine and on a couple linux boxes of mine that the email server proggie locked its own passwd out. I believe this is the one I have: https://www.openwall.com/john/
