If you're sure the attachments are PDF's, then the advice from anthonyh and MacGyver is as good as it gets! If nothing was loaded for you is literally true, then I presume you have no Office applications, so those attachments could be just about anything, but the good news is you can get free readers for just about anything! BTW when you're downloading Acrobat Reader, remember to deselect Google Toolbar, unless you really want it. (Adobe say "Google Toolbar makes web browsing more convenient" - that's a matter of opinion!)

PDF995 is a great free program to create your own pdf's if you need to go that route, too.

Thanks for the referral Stacey. The full Acrobat writer program is a bit of a pain on the balance sheet. :thumb: BTW, nice to have you back. We missed you last week.

I have never tried PDF995, I'll have to. I use Adobe InDesign, it's a professional publishing software for magazines and books. Works really well, also puts a dent in the wallet.

I've found that Adobe Acrobat takes a little too long to open on my computer (maybe due to the fact that my computer sucks) but regardless, I use a reader called "foxit reader." It is available online for free, its very clean and bare-bones and it takes about half a second to open! It handles those huge Avaya IP Office installation manuals with ease.
