Can a Norstar flash mail be set up to answer as two different companies. Thanks for your help, Tony

Never did get an answer, but I have been asking around and have been told no good on muti-AA. Told pilot might be the answer. Thanks for your reply and have a Great Holiday

Thornhill, you can set up the flash to answer for two companies. You can build two different CCR trees and assign lines to ring the appropiate tree. The only down side with flash is it is either going to be a 2 port or 4 port system. Depending on the number of incoming lines, may be a little short on resources to handle many calls at a time especially when divided between two diferent companies. One company could end up tying up both ports (or 4) and the other company out of luck.

If you don't want to setup a CCR, You can assign the lines to different greeting tables and it will work the same. You just need to assign seperate greetings to each table for the respective companines.

Actually the downfall of the CCR on the Flash is that ONLY 1 CCR can play. If you have two different greetings and have the CCR tree turned on, then the Same CCR will play for the 2 greetings. The Call Pilot is the way to go.

I actually have two CCR's playing on one system. CCR 1 with greeting one and CCR 2 with greeting 2.

No problem...we have 3 individual companies on one CICS and Startalk

Having problem setting up my first Call Pilot...can't log in with ethernet (straight and crossover cables), get response from serial cable

what browser are you using? if you have a firewall installed on your laptop, make sure it is turned off and make sure you have the correct local IP address setup on your laptop.
