Based on a suggestion from Junkman I am posting this here. There is a thread in the Toshiba forum named FLASH if you need more detail...

I have a VOICEBRICK I assumed was a FLASH as it came with a DK40i. But SSPHONE and VOYAGER have checked a couple of FLASH units and do not find the same files I have...

Issue is the compactflash card is corrupted. The specific directory is named C:\RCPT .
Does anyone recognize this?

I did the chkdsk /f and it reported the first cluster was bad. It truncated the directory. Here is what I get when I do a dir on it now

We've had some problems with Comdial's Debut in the past and it sounds like the same Dialogic product. It uses a Sandisk module. We've taken known good units and copied all of the files to a hard drive on a PC and can always restore a Debut when the thing looses it's mind.

You definitely have some corrupt files by the last 16 files showing all the garbage. Sounds like you do have the Dialogic Brick VM like Mark3906 states and if you open it up and find a compact flash card you can restore the directory and not lose any recordings.

Mark, That sounds exactly like what I have.... It has a SanDisk 32 compactflash. Do you have the files I need? We can take this off list...

After more discussion it aqppears I have a Voicebrick. Does anyone have the c:\RCPT directory they can zip up and send? It looks to be the database directory
I have a printout of what is supposed to be there and one of the corrupted files is DB.zip.
