I had a voice mail system working with a Mitel SX100 when I had some glitches with the software. Company long gone. Company wouldn't supply copies of software. Everything lost at this point. Started over. I couldn't find info on this exact card, however, used D42D-SX info to get started. I have the system partially working but am having trouble getting the system to recognize both cards. The system sees one card and works partially. I can't figure out the switch settings or the config setting to get the system to load both cards. Help! [email protected]

what kind of voicemail is it? the cards need strapped for id. also your software may only allow 4 ports with the key you have. ------------------ BIGDOG3c PARALLEL TECHNOLOGIES INC. WWW.ABUGSEYEVIEW.COM

The system does not recognize the 2nd card when it boots up. I think I don't have the correct settings in either dialogic.cfg file or the switches set correctly on the boards. The voice mail software really is not in play until after it finishes the boot up. The software is COMET and we actually had it partially working on the 1 card that works. Problem is our Mitel SC100 is send calls to all 8 ports so we need the 2nd card to work.

Are you sure the second card works? did you swap it with the first card as far as jumper settings go? The dialogic cards I deal with normally have Jumper 7 on only on the first card and off on all the others. They also use IRQ5 for all cards. ------------------ BIGDOG3c PARALLEL TECHNOLOGIES INC. I have a couple of old systems using the Dialogic D42 for Nortel. Same type principle..board emulates a digital set port. On my systems there is a command in the autoexec.bat or a secondary batch file that tells the Dialogic Genload software how many boards to look for. It was used to limit number of ports without the expense of a parallel port dongle security key. I'd look there. ------------------ Business Phone Systems
