Occasionally, when dialing a 3 digit extension thru the auto attendant, you get
"I'm sorry that is not a valid entry" when dialing valid extensions with mailboxes that are set to blind transfer. The PBX is an
FX-II with 17D and PRI w/did's.

do you know if it happens in the same routing box.

Is there a day and night routing box? When this happens what mode are you in? I would run trace to see what digits the system thought you were putting in.

It may be as simple as adjusting a timer in the vm.cfg. Maybe the dtmf tone is to short for the dtmf timer set in the vm.cfg.

Sometimes we have to set a parameter in the Trans.txt that says "9= " when this happens. Common issue on 17A and up.

Is the system set for 3 digit? 4 digit?

trying to get the time line right.

You call into vmail, you hear the greeting and then you dial the station, it then says "I'm sorry that is not a valid entry".

or it happens as the vmail answers and you hear
"I'm sorry that is not a valid entry" then you hear the main greeting.
