Can two phones with differnt extensions be routed to one voice mail box?
Is it as easy as editing trans.txt file?
I tried 4546=1046 without any luck. The call is routed to the main greeting.
What am I missing?

I guess it all depends on which phone system you're working with. A Toshiba you can just program the Vmail "ID codes to be anything on any extension ... such as making the codes the same on multiple extensions so they go back to the same mailbox.

The phone system in question is a ComDial FXII and the voice mail system is Key Voice.

you can do it with mailbox forward.

I was looking for a way to have this person only set up one mailbox recording.

If it's coming back into voicemail after RNA or Busy at the extension, I would think you could translate it. Run a trace to get the string on what you need to write a translation for, then write your translation above the generic translation.
