I inherited a customer that has a Wizard voice mail system. I have the admin. password but could not find the option to set up single dig. dialing. (press one to go to ext. 106 ect.)and although I reset some of the mailboxs to default I don't know what is the default password? I would be willing to purchase a manual if anyone knows where I can download one. Any help would be great! Tom

You do need a manual and go into custom set up
you can connect with a null modem cable and go in
with Hyperterminal .
Its slow as death so be patient.
the manual is 150 pages ,john @ manuals plus should have one

How would you go about reseting the password on a VGate Wizard. Picked up service on one installed with a Comdial Unisyn. Unable to get into admin programing or hyperterminal

You have to call voicegate. Thee will fax you a procedure to download 4 files off of the wizard and you email them to them then they crack it for you - for a fee $$

If the file download doesnt appeal to you ,you can send it back to them and they will reset it ,
again with a fee.

ttech - Do you happen to know which 4 files they are interested in. I wouldn't mind having a look with a hex editor. I have a Wizard kicking around, I have the 2nd admin password (it was default) but the main one is lost.
At least knowing the files involved would save me some time.
