Hi,
I was wondering what the Western Electric 456B KTU was for. The label indicates that it is a "voice and tone alerting circuit". It is now on our favorite auction site (number 220795715963).
Thankyou in advance for the info!
Joe

It was used primarily on the Comkey 718, 1434 and 2152 systems. There really isn't any use for it on regular 1A2 systems, however I guess you could custom-wire a slot for it if you wanted to use it for something fancy.
