I just took over an account with a Toshiba DK280 and an outboard PC based vmail/AA that has a sticker stating Voice Prophet.
Customer has no docs and no idea how to access anything but subscriber mailboxes.
Can anyone she some light.. or have a link to a manual. I have checked the manual database at All Types and there is nothing there that I can find.
Thanks in advance for the help. Looking specifically for how to login and rerecord AA prompts.
Thanks.

Its probably Prophet Voice you are talking not Voice Prophet. Is this a Flat gray or green box? If it is what I think then its an Aleen VM. Try web side for ITS Telecom.

If it is a PC base Prophet Voice the manual is on the hard drive.

It is a PC based system. It is mounted up on the wall at the MPOE above the phone system.
Even though I am sure I could figure out how to get a monitor and keyboard out there, it would not be convenient since it is mouted so high and out of the way.
I have tried the instructions from the Aileen products... no luck.
You access this voicemail from the Toshiba by dialing extension 60 if that helps. This gets you into the AA greeting. You # out and it prompts you to enter you box number and then password. This is how we check subscriber mailboxes. I have tried SA or (72) and it is a real box, but it only appears to be a subscriber mailbox without any admin functions.
I tried box 9, 90, 99, 990, etc... no such boxes.
Still looking for the piece of the puzzle...
Thanks for the input.

You need to connect the monitor and key board to make most program changes, you are limited on what can be done using the phone.

You can do almost anything from the telephone. By dialing into VM or from your extension dial in, put your pswd and then hit 9 to get out to main Greeting, then dial *900 follow by Pswd and do what you need. You can go on https://www.its-tel.com/download.asp and Download programming for VME Pro. All DTMF Commands in that Manuals

vad60, What you described can be done on the Prophet lite, I'm not sure if it can be done on the older Prophets.
I can say this when it comes to programming the Prophet lite, it is nothing like their older systems.

What kind of older Prophets are you talking about? Computer based or flat box with a smal windownand RJs 11 on the front pannel?

I am sorry for missunderstanding. I have to read a post more carefully. Yes, Dan is right, you may need a Monitor and keyboard but if you know Admin MB then it is access code 72 to go to admin and then Greeting MBs start at 801.
