Keyvoice Corporate Office 8.2

I have several extensions that I need to be able to transfer to via automated attendant but have zero voicemail functionality; no ability to leave message, just ring off hook. Is this a COS function or a mailbox programming feature?

Another acceptable solution would be to ring the extension but go to another extension's mailbox on RNA.

Thanks.

My guess would be that you need to add a voice mail box for these extensions. When the AA (part of the voice mail) is asked to transfer to an extension with no vm box---it has nothing to recognize.

What phone system do you have there? You may have to program the extensions for CFB/NA to the vm.

Mailbox is required for the transfer, but you can set the COS in voicemail to not allow messages. Changes in the trans.txt can allow a RNA-forwarded call or recall to go to another box, if needed.

Thanks guys.

The extensions already have a mailbox that is functioning normally. The phone system is DXP+ but I don't see the relevance since the phone system is handing off the call.

If I set the COS to not allow messages, will it still play the greeting? I just want it to ring until tha caller hangs up or someone picks up the handset.
