Keyvoice Corp. 8.2/Comdail DXP+/serial integration
Users complaining of callers not being able to leave messages to their vm. One user said this occured while they were on the phone and another caller could not get to the vm. Another user had similar issues and could not recall if they were on the phone or not. All calls were made via DID. Caller said the phone rang 30 or so times and then got a message "you have reached XXX" and then rang again. I am thinking they got the voice announcement and not the mailbox but am unsure. I have not been able o duplicate this using my own mailbox and we have the same COS and same setting on the VM.
What else should I look for and could this possibly be a phone system issue?
Thanks. Rich

I was able to duplicate this.
I had someone call me and while on the phone with them, I called myself via cell phone. The extension rang 4 times an then the auto-attendant picked up and said....transferring your call to xxxxxxxx. Then it rang 4 times and repeated all over again.
Any ideas. I don't recall this happening before. I am going to try and powercycle the VM to see it resolves itself but appreciate any insight in the meantime.
Thanks again.

Have also verified that the Comdial system is set to send "2" as the integration digit.

I'm having the same issue except I'm connecting to a WIN system.
Any suggestions, I can't figure it out.

baker, please post your question in a new topic. Not only is your post a hijack of this thread, it's regarding a totally different voicemail system. It's much better, both for responses to your questions and for search engine results, if you avoid hijacking another thread. If you have any questions regarding this, please feel free to send me a PM. Otherwise, I look forward to seeing your new thread.
Thanks!
Justin
