Hello, I have a key voice corporate that I support in a hotel, the problem we are having after rebuilding the PBX from scratch. When calls directed to any ext that forwards to voice mail, the voice mail will answer and starts with " you may transfer the call now" then starts with the mailbox greeting. Is there something i am missing in my PBX - in my call forward string I am using the following string 7550*9***9. in the mitel we are sending 7550 hunt group, *9 = Pause 1 sec, *6 = pulse ext # of forwarded device, The ** = send a single * and the last *9 is a 1 sec pause.
When we watch the screen when a forwarded call is sent to VM , we see the port answer, wait for digit and then we see port display xfer bypass and then box greeting.
We want to eliminate the " you may transfer the call now"
Any help would be greatly appreciated and thank you in advance

See if your mailbox is set for "Screened transfer" or "Wait For Answer"..if it is then change it to "Blind Transfer."

You need to edit the script. Record the prompt with just silents. Or copy and rename another script that just has a beep or something.
