Hello All! Your forum has been invaluable for me in programming a toshiba dk280 that I relocated for a client. I just have one last thing to finish for this move, that is to install a full voice t1 for the client to use as a group 9 dial out.
I have never installed a t1 before, and was hoping someone can tell me if i have missed out on doing anything, before the cut with AT&T this evening. AT&T was quite rude about making this the last call before they drop the order, since i've been trying to figure out the t1 requirements at my end, and the first 2 times we scheduled the cut, it didnt work.
I have mapped all 24 channels for the dsx1 on the adtran tsu600 (csu), using network for timing, using an rdtu1 card on a ba bb cpu, b8zs and esf for framing on adtran, are there any other things i should be aware of before i call ATT to make the cut?
Please hlp, the client wont be happy if ATT drops the order.
Thanks a ton.
PS> please be gentle, As you might have guessed, i am a complete newbie in the field.

Glad you are finding the board useful! If someone hasn't said it before, "welcome". Please remember to take time to fill out your profile.

Adtran tech support is VERY VERY good and should be able to help you. They have always helped me when I called in desperate situations such as this.

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

You probably will get a quicker answer if this post was in the Toshiba forum.

One thng to keep in mind is the Build out level on the DSX-1 port on your TSU600

double check your equipment to amke sure it can handle the level comming from the DSX-1.

if i recall it is -7db by default

I went through fits the first time I programmed a tsu600 and took a few late nite calls to adtran tech support which is BAR NONE the best i have ever seen, they will support there, doesn't matter if you bought it new or used, they stand behind it 100%
