We have access to the main building and can install a line of site wireless solution to the outlying building. Any recommendations on the type of wireless equipment? You would be surprised the distance you can get without an external ant. Also if copper is available, you can get the network going that way!

But if you have phone cable and there are 2 spare pairs that distance should be no problem just get some good data rated surge supression on it. Just wire straight thru 1pr-pins 1 & 2: 2pr-pins 3 & 6
