I've got an unusual request from a country club I service. They want a device that will call a specified number if there is a power failure or if the temperature falls below a certain point in a building. I've seen and heard of them, but never touched one. Is there one out there that others have had success with?

I'd say contact an alarm company

Radio Shack used to sell them...had a FarmLand hog test farm with two of them. Worked fine...no false calls. :thumb:

Just remember, Rat Shack blew them out the door for $99 :-) https://www.sensaphone.com/?gclid=CPfQudWNwbACFWEQNAodKEbyYA The company is in love with the units now. It's a Sensaphone 400. Carl

Have a look at the Sensaphone product. I've installed quite a few in health care facilities.

@MooreTel: Their alarm company punted on the request, so they called me (lucky me, huh). I'll check out this Sensaphone. Seems like an option.

We also use Sensaphone to monitor alarm contacts and temperature. Works like a charm and have never had any issues with it.
