Oh...ok, now I understand the question.
The Comdial Executech doesn't hold a very impressive record for failures on the Executech phones, the key units were pretty good, but the phones sucked, dial pad problems, flaking conductive pieces coming off and stopping the phone from working or the button not working at all. Time...I don't know...I would say a year or 2 on the new ones, which aren't produced any longer...so most bad units will have the problem soon if they haven't already.
Hope that helps.

Comdial did not have any MTFB ratings for their KSU's. I agree with Test-Ok about the phones and the KSU's. Why would you want the MTFB on such an old product? We use that info for new sales of Samsung telephone systems. The MTFB for Samsung is 37.5 years!

Thank you for your help & comments. I am a Telecom student in Iowa & needed the information for a fake bid proposal assignment. Our Instructors feel that we should be knowledgable in legend equipment as well as newer systems. He had us bid this Comdial system to a fake business he concocted.
I did spend over 4 hours searching on the internet before posting to this forum. Perhaps I should have let you know why I needed the info on my first post!
I look forward to checking in on this forum over the next two years of my schooling & hope you will be patient with me!
Thanks again!

Now ya got me wondering...Your turn [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]
What kinda class is it your attending? What is that coarse teaching you? How to sell phone systems? I've never heard of any classes of that type...mainly because anyone who could teach it (or a good teacher that could teach it well) would most likely be selling phone systems, cause it pay a lot more than teachen does and I would think it's a lot easier too.
