Will the Comdial DX-80 phones operate on any other Comdial system?

I don't think so. I know that not a definite answer. But my best guess. [Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]

I was afraid not...best info I have says no... but I can keep hoping!
We want to be able to repair them and cannot currently test them on any of our other test systems...
I guess we are just going to have to shell out the cash for a test DX-80, like it or not...

Currently The DX-80 phones do not migrate to other Comdial products. There was some talk about the DX-80 phone working on the FX-II in the future but that has not happened.

I see the DX80 card as an available selection in VMMI, but I still haven't heard anything about actual availability of the card.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but this is exactly my question, so continuing the thread seemed to be of no harm, since it's due for an update. Does anyone have an update on the release of the card, or has it been tossed?

The DX80 cards for the FX series was dropped I was told. I did see one working at the factory so I know it made it past the development planning stage.

I could say a lot about that, but I'll just say that I'm not very happy about that. It made for a nice migration path, and also gave a nice available option when the DX120 or DX80 doesn't do what's expected of it.
