Is it possible to ECF an analog port extension? I only seem to be able to forward to an external telephone number with a DET.

Also, is there a recommended wireless headset& base unit that will plug into and work with a DET?

I have sold quite a few of the Panasonic KX-TCA92 headsets---2.5mm plug, headsets fold up and are adjustable, has a vol control & a mute button. They are fairly in-expensive, and so far, my customers are happy with them. The Pansonic KX-TCA86 is even cheaper and still seems to be OK--but no vol control & mute button. Both of them can be used on cordless phones and also on cell phones. You can get them from a lot of different vendors. Good Luck.

I'm guessing that you can't ecf with an analog device(i'll check into it), but if the analog extension had a voice mail box associated with it, callers can be routed to the external number.
As far as headsets, I like the Gn-Netcom products, but wireless I like the Plantronics headset model number is CA-10(i think). Keep in mind that you can't plug the Plantronics wireless base into the DET, it needs an analog line from the system.

The analog phone set and port have a voice mail box. I turned ECF on, but don't know how to or if it is possible to call forward to an outside location.

According to the analog manual you can't use the ecf feature. It's possible I over looked something but I don't think you can. Assuming you have voice mail, you can have the voice mail transfer to an external number, but you need to make some programing changes in the Transfer settings. as far as the wireless headsets, I would go to www.plantronics.com or www.gnnetcom.com and look at their products to see if they have what your looking for. I've never used that type of headset so I can't give a model # or anything.
