An incoming caller reaches the Auto attendant, dials ZERO (Operator is X 249)
When zero is dialed I would like it to go to UCD 6 (415) which includes (linear ringing) for 249, 201, 202.....(3 rings each). I would then like to re-route directly to 249Voice Mail.
I have never been able to make this work, and have even changed the trans.txt file UCD Overflow for Hunt Group 6 to = 249*,*
Any ideas?

Trans.txt reads from the top to the bottom so make sure your equation for this hunt group comes before the generic equation for hunt groups.

It's been awhile since I've done something like that. I think all you have to do is to create mailbox 415. Somehow the dx80 ucd grps are integrated with v.m. boxes of the same number.

Try this; set 249 as the final overflow destination (if you are using overflow 1 set overflow 2 to 249) if you are not using overflow 1 set it to 249 and set overflow 2 to "null" in the ucd group and final destination to 433 (VM Port). Make sure you have a MB249 This works, I do it here but using a real ext. #. I'm guessing that 249 is a phantom? or did you change your directory numbers for extensions? mark
