I replied to the wrong comment... sorry! <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by Bigkayeh: If that didn't work then it's probably as Mark said and the prime line intercom is set to the other station. I had that name problem on a 12A system before it must have been just after Bigdog because Comdail said they knew about it and said the only way to fix it was to change the name. How many times has it been Comdial's solution that you need to learn how to live with a bug?

Ok, that didn't solve THAT problem; however, you still rock because I can now change people's displays to read the right name!!! BUT even after changing the names on both phones that one still calls the other...? <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by dtmf: Try ITCM *#0*53 Dial station number plus # if less then four digits Dial # to clear the current name Dial the two digit codes for letters Dial # to save.
If you need the codes for the letters just post back the name and i'll post them

It sure sounds like [Prime Intercom Number] is assigned to that set.

If memory serves it's in Stations which is 2 on the main menu, by default it is set to NO.

I was betting on the prime ICTM being the problem but bigdawg is right about the early rev software having problems when two stations have the same name. We noticed it at Comdial when everybody start naming the voicemail ports all VM instead of VM1, VM2 and so on. I don't remember the exact rev but is was before VMMI.

How do you change the Prime ITCM from the phone itself, since I can't get into the software? <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by CMDL_GUY: I was betting on the prime ICTM being the problem but bigdawg is right about the early rev software having problems when two stations have the same name. What is the rev level of your software? Can you access the system programming from a PC?
You may need a certified tech with the right software and knoweledge to set you up and show you how to make minor changes to the system database. mark

I can't access get into the software, so if I can't change this via a phone or the phone console then I won't be able to do it... <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by markk: What is the rev level of your software? Can you access the system programming from a PC?
