Is there any source for the clock chip for the no308 KSU? I have two of these (one for backup!) and the 6600 phones. I'd like to have the time displayed on the phone, but niether KSU will do this, (I've tried programming the date and time as per the manual, no luck.) I looked on the system board and didn't see an open socket for a chip, is the correct chip a replacement for one of the others that is already installed?

Thanks!

It must be modified to support LCD speakerphone support in order to display the time, You would need the PCCXE upgrade kit which would change your N0308 to a K0308

I have no idea if they are even available anymore

Everything works on the phone's display during programming and use, (line in use, connect time, intercome, etc.) except the time display. If the phone is operational in other respects, should it support the clock?

Thanks!

Thanks! I guess I'll try to look for a K0308 or the upgrade package on ebay, or somewhere.

The clock upgrade kits are available and should be reasonably priced. Contact your local Comdial distributor!

Thanks for the reply, I live in a very small town about 120 miles from Wichita, KS. I really don't have a local dealer, I'm afraid.

I have some of the clock chips that were used to make the clock work. I have no instructions, compatability information or anything. I forget how it worked. I believe there was a chip you pulled, put the clock chip in, then put the old chip back on top.
Been a long time. I have several new ones if you figure it out. Will trade for beer money.
