Well, we're bringing this PRI up today.
We gave the phone company these settings:
National or Custom PRI? (Usually National)? National
Line Coding:
__x____B8ZS or ______ AMI
B8ZS: Binary 8 Zero Substitution, also known as “clear channelâ€
AMI: Alternate Mark Inversion, sometimes referred to as “D-4â€
Framing Format:
_x__ ESF or _______SF
ESF: Extended Super Frame
SF: Super Frame
ANSI vs. NON-ANSI
_____x_____ANSI: CSU / DSU is able to receive T1 performance reports from
Data link Channel (ESF option only)
__________NON-ANSI – CSU / DSU not able to receive reports
They are ready to bring the trunks up, but are getting a "lockout" error. Under ISDN PRI Board configuration, I have the following programmed:
Protocol:NI2
Default number

ur 10 digit phone number
Calling number ID mode
![[Linked Image from sundance-communications.com]](https://www.sundance-communications.com/forum/biggrin.gif)
efault number
The next four things are greyed out and not programmable.
Network Specific Facility:None
Called Party Number:Unkown
Calling Party Number:Unknown
Local Tones:Enabled
Can you tell where we've gone wrong? I realize a technician would be a better way to get this resolved, but we are really pressed for time as this needs to be up before 5pm today. I'd really appreciate some help. TIA.
