I have a GO408 rev J with an Impression rev 20A software cartridge. I can't get it to recognize my Impact phones, even though the thing will work with an old Americom software cartridge. Does the Impression cartridge only work with Impression phones?

Thanks!

Waht software do I need to look for in order to use the Impact phones?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something here, but my software hardware matrix shows the impact phone working with release 12A and up and 20A Rev g will work the SCS Impact. In button mapping you have to tell the system the phone type.

When I install the Impression cartridge and power up the system, the only button on the phone (Impact 8012S-GT that works is the shift button. I can't access the intercom for programming. Can I button map using the old Americom cartridge and then install the Impression cartridge?

Thanks! Tom

Also, the Americom cartridge is HA110-NBK Rev 4 and the Impression cartredge is SO408 Rev 20A

My Impact manual is wanting a IO408 cartridge Rev 18A or higher.

If I act confused, I am!

Tom

I think you need to connect with a computer, and go to telephone type, or button mapping and see if you have the impact support listed. J is probably right, I'm probably reading this software hardware matrix incorrectly. I'll email it to you.

Impression software cartridges did not support Impact SCS sets.

Anyone out there have a IO408 Rev 18A or higher?

I know there are some retail sites that I checked with (glad I didn't order one of the $225 to $300 cartridges until I found out which one works!) but was hoping to find something a bit less expensive!

Thanks to all for your help!

Tom

I have an I0408 rev 18a that I could sell you. It would probably be much cheaper than you will find elsewhere. (800)797-0070 ext 202.
