I have a phone where the speaker light is on all the time this is a impact telephone with a Comdial DSU II System. Thanks for any help

That's just background music being activated inadvertatnly and there's no music source connected to the system. Just press the ITCM button and dial #1. It got turned on by pressing *1.

If you don't have a background music source, then you can disable that feature systemwide in programming. Then you won't have users accidentally turning on the speaker lamp.
