Installed voice mail 4port recently on a dx80 with 33a that has been working great for a year or so. The problem is that the auto att. answers the lines and transfers them to 101. If line 3 is transfered and the person answers [ringing line pref.] she gets a burst of tone before she gets the call. If she answers the call by touching the line button on problem. No problem on lines 1&2. Any ideas? Thanks Bilbo.

A bit of a lack of information here, but it sounds like the transfer is set to something other then blind in the VM programing. If you want to PM me or send an email I could probably help you. Mark

I agree. The tone is typically heard when the transfer type is set to Wait For Answer instead of Blind.
