That's true, nothing serious here, bashing was probably too strong a term. Let's say derogatory.

Too often someone encounters a product they don't know much about and it becomes the "systems fault" that they have a problem. I try to not let that happen here because I sell this stuff, I know how it works, and I stick up for it like a big brother. Agreed, no harm no foul, simple heads up, not even a yellow card.

Button mapping on the entire Executech family was one of the easiest things to do in programming them. All manufacturers have their little quirks about them today just as much as yesteryear and everyone developes preferences differently. That's why we as humans are different and individually unique. If button mapping on the Executechs is frustrating, I'm curious know of any experience and opinion on the 1A2 equipment you might express ???

Button mapping on 1A2 was way different. You actually had to know something. Manuals and internet sites were "not included" Punch, your prolly not old enuf to know that.

I said it was a LITTLE frustrating...not overwhelming..
for example...fixed button 'B4' appears at three different locations on three different executech model phones...so you have your one model plugged into the programming port..you have to have a paper showing what ext. has what model phone and then do the button cross referrencing. I thought that was a hassle. I guess I'm just spoiled by the newer systems. P.S. I ended up with a model of each at the mdf and just programmed accordingly. wink

Markie my intended question was if he ever had the frustrating experiences of the 1A2 equipment - there is no programming that can be done, all hard wire.

And I'll have you know ya bald headed yankee (now the truth is out about what's under that hat) I cut my teeth on 1A2 while you were chewing on my kneecaps in your infancy !
