I added and programmed an additional CO Line(4)for my customer, but I'm having trouble disabling the vmail from answering line 4. The customer just want it to ring on one ext (116) only and not be answered by the vmail. I used program 54-3 to get line 4 to ring at ext 116 but after 2 rings the vmail answers. The system stays in nite mode.

you have at least one of the VM ports programmed to ring on line 4 either delayed or in night ring.
Connect with a laptop and view the programming for each VM port to see what lines are set to ring there and in what mode, then you can change it accordingly. Mark

As Mark said, you may have one or more of the voicemail ports programmed to answer that line. Check Day Direct, Day Delay, Night Direct, and Night Delay ringing. If you find none of the voicemail ports are programmed to ring for this line in any of the 4 mentioned ringing scenarios, then check your forwarding on the x 116 that you programmed to ring. I'm wondering if it's possible that the station's forwarding is sending it to voicemail. I would check everything else first, though, before checking on the x116 RNA to VM setting.
