I have a new customer who has a Comdial DX 80 with voice mail about 1 year old. The for the past week or so the voice mail will disable itself and the only way to enable is to do a power reset of the main switch and the expansion unit at the same time. But this only works for a few hours. Any help would be appreciated.

I've seen one do that. After a few weeks it failed to boot at all. Comdial Replaced it under warranty. Before you call them, pay attention to what lights are lit on the board when it is not working, and any beeping it might be doing. TS asked me about that when I called. Also, check that the flash card is properly seated. Mark

Thanks Mark K. I checked the unit in question and re-seated the flash card. The "APP" LED is flashing. When I do a reset or cycle power the "APP" LED goes out, then comes back on flashing and 4 beeps are heard. Also the "HDD" LED is flashing. Voice mail is still not working. philtech06

Sounds like it's not reading the flash card, call comdial for a RA# if it's in warranty. Mark
