On Feb 5th 2005 I made my first post. I said you guys were great and I might have a question for you some day. Well do I ever need your help. Our Churches DX80 has in skin flashcard voice mail. When a caller enters the mail box number, the call is transferred to the extension and the extension starts to ring. If the extension is answered the caller goes to the mailbox greeting. The called extension gets nothing. Voice mail prints “SYSTEM ERROR 2002 Error 2 in message type 2 from DX80â€Â. I have looked at everything I could thing of and can’t see the trouble. Please Help. Mail box is set to wait for answer.

Why are your mailboxes not set to blind transfer?

Agree with Mark. Blind transfer when going to an extension.

Good Question, When calls were set to blind transfer, calls would not go back to the mailbox greeting if the extention was not answered. I Have ext 101 set for Predefined Call Forward to 433. With blind transfer ext rings for about 30 second before going back to voice mail but it goes to routing box 821 not to mail box 101.

You have your pre defined call forward time set to a time that is longer then your call transfer recall timer. Mark

Thaks Mark. changed call transfer recall timer from 60 sec to 16. and changed to blind transfer from all the mail boxes.
