CSU is only a demarcation/loop/protection point, as I understand it. You are referring to a channel bank, which usually also has a built-in CSU.

Then I need info on the CSU I should have priced into my proposal, maybe you could PM me the one you would use?
The DX120 uses a PCDBA like the 80, it's available on CCC I downloaded it today but didn't look at it. I don't know about the firmware but everything is backward compatable according to the paperwork from the mothership.

Uses a new PCDBA DX-120 interface. FW17.

Mark- the circuit plugs into the CSU then plugs into the PRI card. It is just a repeater/loop point for the telcos. The two wire circuit then breaks down into 23 talk (B) channels on the circuit card. All signalling is done through the 24th (D) channel.

I may be going thru the DX120 correspondence course. Has anyone done it? Is it worth going thru?

Justin..I pulled the KSU out, loaded the new software and logged in and programmed it. Feels like a DX80 except some numbering changed. No 740 for line 1..now 800 and up. I'll take the course and certify on the product but it's pretty straight forward. This should fly off the shelf if it doesn't have too many rev 1 bugs.

I downloaded it today and I plan on doing it Friday. They just put it up on the 24th so I doubt anyone has completed it yet.

I'd be interested in info on what CSU you use, Dave. Would you mind sending me the info as well? Thanks!
