schup, I just pulled up the ad for your city, online, but didn't see the CF. The ad was dated 11/29 - 12/2. Which page was it on?

Just got todays paper, it is an insert in the paper so you might be right about the region. Today's inset has them for $19.95. Let me know if you still want some, but from the above posts, Mark K may have the best answer. The ones here were SanDisk, though. If you want some of the cards still, please PM so I'll get the message faster than I did this one.

Wow! Looks like the same SanDisk 512MB (for 19.99) in my local Walgreens ad. Not bad, I guess, for SanDisk. And then no shipping. I might just have to go pick some up.

Longs Drugs has the same one, but for 24.99.
I'm checking the other ads.

I'd advise staying away from "Crucial" brand flash cards; I think nearly every VM board we've sent out with one has come back within 6 months.

Anyone try PNY? I picked up a couple 1GB (regular, not newer faster version) PNY Compact Flash Cards at Staples, this week, for 19.95 each. I haven't done anything with them yet.

Yeah...okay, so I wasn't thinking. DOS can't recognize 1GB, so those didn't work. Unless someone knows of a work-around, I'm taking those 1GB CF back, and finding a deal on 512's. NOW I know why everyone was only getting 512 as their biggest option.
