We know how to use the find me/follow me feature that is currently on our FX-II system. But this system calls each number one at a time in order.
Is there any way to make this "call blast" call all the numbers at one time? Or maybe a different piece of software that would do this?
Thanks, -David

What are your expectations? That is calls all numbers at once, and gives the caller to whoever answers first?? You ARE talking about find me follow me and not message notification, right?

If you are trying to ring your desk phone, house phone and cell phone simultaneous, I'm afraid you can't do it. If I am wrong, someone else will correct me. Even if it is possible I'm quite sure you would need a PRI connection to the PSTN to make this happen.

I just don't think that your system is going to be able to even trick something like your requirement into happening. I will say that I have heard that some VOIP systems might be able to provide something similar soon, if not already. Your current system won't be able to do this and you would need to have VERY deep pockets to replace it with a system that will. You will also need to be quite a gambler since you might need to refill your pockets quickly if the new system doesn't work.
With today's public network, I don't see how a customer-premise system can supervise so many external call transactions at one time. I suppose that a system with a PRI might have a certain level of intelligence, but it's going to be tough to test this before you buy.
I would recommend requiring that any potential vendor of a system that claims they can perform this task provide you with proven successful installations as references. See if you can test their installation for yourself.
Doing what you need is a very difficult task to accomplish; bridging local phone systems with unknown other systems at the same time. I am sure that this is possible, but until all equipment AND service providers are singing from the same sheet of music, it's going to be dirty at best.
My concern would not necessarily be the cost of a system replacement, but the fact that these are new requirements, and systems claiming to be capable are in their infancy. Do you remember the Yugo? This was a practically disposable car and people bought them left and right. Two years later, they couldn't buy repair parts and found it cheaper to donate their cars to charity than to keep them running.

If your FXII has a PRI and and INterchange you first try to change your customization to minutes instead of hours. Have your message go to a mailbox with the first notification number. Have it copy to a second box with the second notification number. Put the notification time at zero seconds. Close to simultaneous callout. Another possibility I haven't tried but will tomorrow is to have the call go to a hunt group where the 3 or 4 members are CFOSed to your numbers in a ring all sequence. I'll try to set that up to test. If my system blows up I'll be looking for a new line of work.

Well it wasn't a have to have feature. Our President currently uses a third-party service that does this, and we just thought we might be able to save some money if we could make our system do this. (It calls 4 #'s his direct line here, his cell phone, & his 2 house lines... when someone answers they have to know the PIN number to get the call transferred to him.)
Thanks for your responses! I also just wanted to say, I have been reading through the forums for the last week or so and that I have learned so much from you guys. Thank you for putting a place together like this where people can help each other out. If I wasn't in the particular situation that I am in (family business), I would love to be in the telecom & networking business.
Thanks again! -David

Well, try out some of the things that Dave suggested. His suggestions sound pretty good (and might actually work, too! ) I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say , and we're glad you're enjoying what this board has to offer.
