OK, got an FXT 15C with Corp office 8.5 (brand new corp office).

7 Lines on a t1-24 card that only rings ext 101
All other extensions have a key for each line but no ringing assigned.

Issue Is:

When a call comes in VMail answers on the first ring. Once in the main greeting if I dial 101 it goes straight to vmail, never rings the phone. CFW is set on ext 101 to go to the first vmail port after 6 rings.

Also, if i set the lines in VMail to amswer after 2 rings it will wait 2 rings, so that is working.

I have verified that DND is not on on ext 101 and that the vmail extensions do not have any ringing assigned to them.

Any ideas why voicemail is answering these at all? Especially since there is no ringing defined for the vmail extensions.

I have spent an hour+ double checking all settings and can find nothing.

Go to 101 mailbox options (3 from MB menu) press 4 and make sure it is set to 101 and not VM
Look at your mailbox user guide and you will understand. That's the only thing that comes to mind quickly.

It could be set to X or 101. Either should work. Make sure the transfer type is set like the others (probably "Blind"). Also make sure that "Currently Enabled" is set to Yes. That enables the transfer.
