Have a customer that has a Executech 616 system. Is looking to add a small voice mail system, only needs about 4 or 5 voice mail boxes. any idea,s. thanks in advance for any info.

IF you can get an OPX adapter for the 616, you can connect it to a 2-port analog voice mail system from just about any manufacturer. It will need to use supervised transfer and it won't be pretty. The customer probably won't be happy with this setup anyway, so you probably shouldn't waste a lot of time on it.

It's for a fire house, they only have two lines and 8 phones, they have about 4 or 5 office's that they want to have voice mail on, I was thinking a Friday voice mail box with 4 mailboxes, but then they would have to go to one central location to get there mail.

As far as I recall it can't be done on and Executech 616, I would suggest replacing them with the ACS, if they really want voice mail.

I think your right, i was lookig for some options for them, I havent worked on a comdial for about 15-18 years, I was trying to save them tere system ( I think they got it in 1989 )I can sell them a acs-308 soho pack w/s vm for less. Thanks for your help guys. ( Ed & test-ok )
